Customer Review

on 5 August 2003
The Feat (back then) were a strange concoction of southern-fried rock n roll, country, R & B and funk, but it all knitted together perfectly. This album has a great 'live in the studio' feel and the playing is top notch... individually and collectively. There wasn't much this band couldn't tackle, and this album is pretty eclectic, from the dirty funk of "Rock n Roll Doctor" through the R & B of "Spanish Moon" to the jazz-rock inflected "The Fan" and finishing with a 10 minute rock-out medley of old favourites from previous albums - "Cold Cold Cold/Tripe Face Boogie". The album clocks in at under 40 minutes, but there's no fat in there, it's all quality.
