1.0 out of 5 stars Wiring Fault. Does Not Work, 27 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: 5m BT telephone extension [6P4C] cable (Electronics)
I bought this with a new phone. Moved the wardrobe and fixed everything in place. Phone worked fine...........until someone called. New did not ring. I assumed it was the phone but when I plugged it into a different socket it rang. After much trouble shooting and testing I have established that the fault is with this cable. Popped to DIY and got a new cable and everything works fine. Obviously the wire that makes the phone ring is faulty in this extension. It is a pity that this was not quality checked as I wasted lots of time.

I't a cable costing a mere £1.60. The odd one out of thousands will be faulty. It's not worth ranting about ...

Wrong! Even if it's cheap and possibly ''one out of thousands'', it doesn't mean that customer should't tell to others about it. Maybe it's not ''one out of thousands'', but more common problem= that's how we getting idea about quality of items on amazon, by rating them, not being quiet because it was cheap!!!
