Variable Picture quaility,
This review is from: The Move: The Lost Broadcasts [DVD] (DVD)
Great to have some Move on DVD one of the great overlooked bands of the 60's this disc seems to have been culled from 3 or 4 different broadcasts and is o variable picture and sound quality. This can overpower some of the music.
Music highlight are Great versions of `Blackberry Way' and 'Curly' in black and white from 1969, and 'Brontosaurus' and `The Words of Aaron'.
Jeff Lynne arrivals brings, two versions one of his best songs the B-side 'Down on the Bay'.
One of my pet hates is that Music discs is that companies seem to thing Dolby Digital Stereo is a good format it's not it sucks the life out of the top end and gives a bloated and woolly Bottom end to the sound. This would have been much better with an LPCM soundtrack even at CD quality.
Move fans buy and enjoy before its too late and withdrawn, the more curious may want to start with the 4 Move albums or Box set first.
