Customer Review

19 September 2012
I've written six fiction books so far, but the new work in progress had me stumped. I didn't know why. I do now. There are many writing guides out there, but this one gets down to the nitty-gritty of what does and does not work. It doesn't just tell, it shows via worksheets. In other words, following each chapter, the authors give a worked example of what they have just covered. Better still, they then give you a blank worksheet so you can work your own story. You can literally see what needs to happen, where the sticking points are and how to resolve them. For me it was like a light turning on in my head. It hasn't solved all the problems in my current book, but it has clarified what my next steps are and how much work I still have to do. For that alone, it is worth the money. If you are serious about improving your writing, then get this book.
