Customer Review

on 14 January 2014
But that's hardly the fault of the product. The gales we had through Dec and January broke both the feeders I bought, but with the help of duct tape I have cobbled them back together again and the birds don't seem to mind. The feeders are easy to clean, easy to put together and repair - ie the plastic is pretty tough and the dome protects sunflower seeds from the rain. The design allows ground-feeding birds like robins and blackbirds to be able get some of the goodies too, not just the finches, sparrows and starlings, who must clearly be related to squirrels - who can get in anything, anywhere, at any time and stuff their beaks with every last morsel. This way, there is some left over for the others. Most entertaining so far is watching the magpies devising a plan to reach in under the dome to get to the food. They may need to develop go-go-gadget beaks.
