Anticipation and disappointment...,

This review is from: Daniel - Ian (The MacGregors) (Mass Market Paperback)
In this latest installment, we get to see how it all began. The MacGregor patriarch, Daniel, meets his Anna and begins a spirited, relentless courtship. Anna, however, has other plans. I was SO looking forward to seeing how these two got together, and was surprised by the lack of anything really interesting going on between these two. In short, I was BORED. I've never before been bored by this author. However, I did enjoy seeing Myra Lornbridge, who later becomes Myra Ditmeyer, and flits in and out of other books by Nora Roberts. The story featuring Daniel's grandfather, Ian, was filled with implausibilities. The MacGregor franchise deserves better.
