Customer Review

on 18 April 2012
The basic plot has some clever ideas that could have been developed further, but because of the method used
in revealing them and the delay so caused, they were a little rushed.
However the characters are one dimensional, and seem incapable of really interacting with each other.
This is typified with the method of using letters to convey information when there is no need, and the unlikelihood of the letters being written in the first place.
Scene changes are clunky and character movements self-conscious, as is the attraction between the detective and the heroine. This is no police procedural.
It has a sense of being nearly there, so maybe with a bit more time or inspired reading...
