5.0 out of 5 stars Had me in stitches of laughter, 10 Feb. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Inn at the Top: Tales of Life at the Highest Pub in Britain (Kindle Edition)
This book was serialised in the Dalesman - but there is much more than the excepts printed there which had whetted my appetite. I made the mistake of reading this in bed on my Kindle. My frequent laughter annoyed my husband who had to wait until I had finished reading it before he too could read it! Highly recommended.

Silver Fox says:
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to review my book and I'm delighted that you enjoyed it. The sequel, Pigs Might Fly, Pigs Might Fly: More Dales Tales from the Author of the Inn at the Top will be published by Dale Publishing on 3 August 2015. It covers the events after leaving The Inn at the Top in the spring of 1979, culminating in our return as its new owners five years later. The title is a reference both to the theatrical pet pig that features in the narrative and the precarious nature of the whole enterprise and, as well as the pig, there are a number of other fresh characters joining the line-up of locals from The Inn at the Top. Among them are a punk barmaid with shocking pink hair, two Australian handymen and a Walter Mittyesque chef. The book is again available on Amazon and I hope you enjoy it as much as its predecessor. The paperback's available for pre-order now at the full retail price of £9.99 but is covered by the amazon Pre-order Price Guarantee, that you will be charged the lowest price set by amazon on publication. An ebook is also available. Very best wishes, Neil Hanson.
