From the front cover with the photoshop face implanted under a helmet this book has a cheap feel. Turn it over, read the blurbs on the back with their poor grammar, and this is reinforced. I managed to get through the first 20 pages or so and found enough spelling and grammatical errors to throw the book to one side. It was a shame as the writing had merit and could have led to a good tale. The whole book has the feel of self-publishing, and to see the comments mentioning it in the same breath as Gemmell's Druss and Howard's Conan is a bit premature. I give it 2 stars as it could have been so much more.
