The reason I Jump now...,

This review is from: The Reason I Jump: one boy's voice from the silence of autism (Hardcover)
I'm a mother of twins with autism.
As tough it is to have one child with autism, two can be very tricky... as David Mitchell states, autism has more to do with eye patterns than with measles.
So I bough this and thought "well, another to read and go the pile of books that I already have".
It was a big surprise to state that this is a unique book, and one of the best I've read about autism.
Some questions apply to one of my children, and others to the other one... but in fact, I've understood a lot about what they are going through.
Another thing that I've loved is that it's not a book about the parents pain - it's about their pain, their struggles, their efforts.
We parents have to deal with other people and be a go-between between society and our children... but our children have to deal with everything in this world.
So a big thank you for presenting how you guys are real super heroes!
I'll recomend this to everyone I know.
