1.0 out of 5 stars nothing new, 28 May 2012

This review is from: The Brutal Art of Ripping, Poking and Pressing Vital Targets (Paperback)
This book shows you nothing new,in fact he tells readers that the `eyes` are one easy target, poking, gouging etc etc then states you must buy another to really know about some hidden, secret eye strikes. Bloody hell, poke the feckin thing hard, that`s all there is to it. What`s the secret about that, get real.As tough as some maybe, the eyes are the same for everyone. The rest of the book has nothing new, just tells us how great this author thinks he is,self praise is no praise at all. He certainly talks the talk.

I suggest a reality check..watch or read G Thompson,`Dead or Alive`, who has "walked the REAL walk."

This man has stood at the door in all weathers, a target for the most violent morons that walked the pavement.
He had no weapons to fall back on,no uniform to hide behind,no radio to summon help from the second biggest gang in the country-law enforcement agency- didn`t have the benefit to wait for back up before getting stuck in or selecting when to get heavy handed. Most of These attackers were not just resisting while being held onto until reinforcements arrive, they were out to fight for real, maim, possibly kill.

Believe me readers in the cold dark night of reality you need `bombs` and tactics when it can change in a split second..

The last place I will be placing my fingers , inside a demented streetfighter`s mouth who has every intention of doing me severe harm.
But you feel free to take the book`s advice.

More constructive info,` while your trying to find and apply the `pressure point,` you will get a `bomb` and wake up in hospital, if your lucky.

A world`s renowned Dim Mak Master of 10+years was defeated by a young Wing Tsun practitioner of 4years who took the DM to the ground for a submission in a no holds bar fight,he never had a chance to apply pressure points.

These are for when your opponent is already beaten such as your fellow law enforcement buddies are holding him down so you can show off and act spiteful.

"Self praise is no praise at all" - then look at the reviews on Amazon.Com where all the reviews are 5* or 4* except where you have copied your own review onto that page.
He also has 29 yrs in law enforcement , so maybe he can "walk the walk" too.

Yes,`self praise is no praise at all,`thank you.
A comment from you posted New Year`s eve who contributes no constructive input about this book to help fellow readers make an informed decision.
Prefers to bottom feed off others who do.
I`ll review two more this year so you will have something to do Christmas eve as well.

I compose a detailed response trying to bring objective assessment to people`s attention, not just writing a few, meaningless, irrelevant lines....try it.

At the time of writing,2 people found my comment valuable and were kind enough to register, they are all that matters.

29 years in law enforcement....with their history record, then he must be qualified and trustworthy??
Selling books to the naive is more profitable.

Let me explain as you seem to be the only one having difficulty grasping my review,POKING THE EYES REQUIRES NO SKILL,ok ,got that have you.
You certainly don`t need to buy any additional eye ,poking rip off book.
Crying out loud,a special eye poking book..............wise up.
There again maybe you do.

You can`t help some people.
