Format: Hardcover|Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
This book comes festooned with endorsements. This from the Patron of the World Affairs Council of America - 'this provocatively titled and fascinating book throws light on that elusive, near-invisible phenomenon: national culture...this inspirational duo expertly analyze the national characteristics of two dozen of the world's giant enterprises and show how those characteristics, in powerful yet often invisible ways, impact these companies'.

The nation states examined in detail in this book are: USA, Sweden, France, Japan, Italy, Germany and Great Britain. It concludes with 8 recommendations aimed at investors, boards, and management.

This is a thoroughly written book and a worthwhile read for any international businessperson. There is a useful appendix covering countries not included in the main body of the text; also included are references and a list of websites. Recommended.
