This second series of 'The Syndicate' was continually entertaining, never boring and you genuinely cared about the character's. The acting was very good especially from Alison Steadman and the writing was clever from Kay Mellor. The fact that a £14,000 000 win on the lottery didn't always mean instant happiness was realistic and left the viewer rooting for most of the winners to find fulfilment and stability.
The BBC came up trumps here and this was an excellent series with a lot of heart. I think there will be a series three and it has a lot to live up to. Recommended viewing without question.
