Loved the writing style which was simple with lots of dry wit. You could call it a black comedy. V interesting story and adventure. I found the main character Allan likeable, sometimes a little annoying but this certainly didn't bother me - I found his philosophy on life and situations very amusing - almost childlike - I loved getting to know him and the other quirky characters. It wasn't a predictable read which kept you wanting to turn the next page. It's tongue in cheek a lot of the time so may not suit some people's sense of humour but it did mine....loved the intricate plot - it was completely different from anything I've ever read before - very refreshing. Highly recommended. Author of Green Smoothie Joy, Luc the Lion, Ellena the Elephant, Gerry the Giraffe.
