Customer Review

on 15 March 2014
Fascinating book. I have done extensive research into wheat allergy, and the many effects arising from this - I have used this information to persuade doctors to perform tests and prescribe medication that they were not always familiar with.
Wheat Belly approached the problem from the other side, as it were, from the wheat itself...closing the circle. Much of the information in the book upholds other research on the extremely high incidence of wheat intolerance and Celiac disease in those of Scots/Irish descent, suggesting that for these people a diet of mainly oats, herrings, lean meat, root vegetables and berries would be beneficial.
