Customer Review

on 14 May 2013
Deeply moving and at times difficult reading, giving an insight into the scale of the sacrifices made by the airmen of the RAF and the many volunteers from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and those Poles, Czechs and Frenchmen, who escaped, to rejoin the fight against tyranny. This book also shows how the advances in technology assisted both sides in the air battle over Germany, leading to ever greater losses of life, both in the air and in the cities beneath.
I thoroughly recommend the other two volumes of this trilogy.
