It's like the 360 controller, but much sleeker for the One. As a controller, its flawless. Anyone who plays with a controller knows that the 360 pads felt good and were reliable as. These are no different, except without that chunky battery pack on the back that the 360 had. The analogue sticks are smaller, and the bumpers are stiffer and clickier, but not objectively worse after some getting used to them.
However, it is 2013, the ps3 has already shown that controllers can be made with built in battery packs not being a hindrance to the build quality. I would appreciate it if microshaft actually prioritized customer satisfaction to the sale of their play and charge kits. Four stars because although it's immaculate as a controller, i'd expect the next generation of consoles to be beyond buying batteries to power them.
