I bought this book after I read an excerpt from it, in which Paul Giamatti and Night have a pretty heated argument. I thought this would be at least some what representative of the book's content, but it's not, there's really no big confrontations or problems so far, I'm 200 pages in, except for Night's own personal issues and doubts.
What the book is, is a slow, boring, too-detailed narration of the movie's creation. It goes out on wild, uninteresting tangents, focusing on Paul Giamatti's grandparent or the tenants living around the movie's main set. It could've been interesting, but it's not.
