Guiter work on first few tracks reminds a lot of Evanescence, after that the album finds its own way -Lady Angellyca is a rather less angsty -intense vocalist than Amy Lee,more like compatriot Ailyn (Sirenia). No particular stand -out tracks, just an album that all hangs together well, no "filler".
For any parents out there, lyrics wise there are a few explicit (though not expletive)lines including a track about clerical child abuse. Kind of Sarah Jezebel Deva territory in places. So not a "feel good" album, but not does it aim to be
All that aside, expect a sound and style more along the lines of a Sirenia, Tristania,Pythia,or Amberian Dawn rather than a Within Tempation , Delain, Stream of Passion ,Leaves Eyes or Kingfisher Sky
