This review is from: EXTREME PREJUDICE: The Terrifying Story of the Patriot Act and the Cover Ups of 9/11 and Iraq (Kindle Edition)
Before reading this book I had just read Phillip Marshall's The Great Bamboozle, and if you read these books in the same order you will see how the prior knowledge of 9-11 and it's fabricated links to bin laden and to Iraq were fed around the intelligence community of which Susan was a part. This prior planning led to Iraq being threatened with bombing if something like 9-11 took place. The majority of the story here is how Susan Lindaeur, as an intelligence 'Asset' tries to warn the powers that be of the threat of a 9-11 event in the months before it happened. However, as TPTB were tied into what was about to happen, Susan herself becomes the threat and is wrongly imprisoned without trial for her efforts, in the hope that what she might reveal can be kept out of the public eye The book is a great warning to those who value democracy.
On the negative side the first third or so of the book is quite difficult to read.... it simply does not flow very well. If anyone else finds the same difficulty with reading it I would recommend fast forwarding (on Kindle, and only once you find you are losing interest) to around page 200, read to the end and then revisit the first part of the book.
