Sorry to be really annoying, but reviewing this album is a waste of anyone's time. Like someone trying to review Miles Davis' In A Silent Way or Bitches Brew at the end of the 1960s. This music will be liked now because its brilliant and intriguing, but its influence will only be appreciated in years to come. N.E.R.D are somewhere altogether completely different from the rest of the music industry. My fear, though, is that this music is being handled and marketed by the music industry, who will no doubt apply sensitising remixes to appeal to a wider audience (cf. UK releases of Outkast's Way You Move, Timbaland's Cop This Disc and that monstrosity added to the UK CD of In Search of...). Buy this album because it's a great listen now and because you'll be listening to it for 40 or more years to come.
