Not as good as it could have been,
This review is from: V Bombers: Vulcan, Valiant and Victor (Profiles of Flight Series) (Hardcover)
This book really falls into two sections, a narrative account of the the development of the V-bombers and a section showing the various paint schemes that were worn by the aircraft during their service careers. While the second section is of a very high standard, the narrative account is not of the same standard. Poor proof reading means that statements disagree when they are mentioned in different areas, facts are incorrect in many cases with typically the Vulcan OCU's locations reduced to only one from its three stations with its date of disbandment totally wrong. ( Did my last flying hours on Vulcans occur on a phantom unit.) I can only hope that a second edition proves of better value.

I agree with the comments ...I did buy it and no mention of 230 OCU at RAF Finningley where I was stationed ....disappointed!
