well, what can i say. r.a.t.m have done it again!!! an album of pure brilliance, not a weak song on the playlist. after having heard their self titled debut album i doubted they could produce another album to such standards. this is level with "r.a.t.m", it by no means beats it but has the same energy, talent and dedication as before. "evil empire", "battle of l.a."'s predecessor is a well written but takes a lot of listening for it to grow on you. "battle of l.a." still has the indefinite life span but is more instant dynamite and a very powerful listen. each song has the strong, catchy guitar riffs and infectious bass lines that are r.a.t.m's trademark. highlights are "sleep now in the fire", check out zack's scream at the start, "voice of the voiceless", short but with a killer guitar riff and "testify", a blasting opener to the album which lets you know that you're gonna love the rest of it!! a must for any rap/metal fan.
