Heart in the right place but badly needs editing.,

This review is from: Why Israel? The Anatomy of Zionist Apartheid - A South African Perspective (Kindle Edition)
This is a very long (778 pp) self-published ebook that purports to answer the question as to why Israel should be singled out for sanctions over other nations guilty of worse crimes. Actually by listing in unstructured fashion a vast range of Israeli government sins against the Palestinians the book loses sight of its central argument. I am strongly pro-Palestinian and have read many books sympathetic to the cause but was tempted to skip some sections, particularly those going into the minutiae of South African Zionist/anti-Zionist clashes.
The best thing about 'Why Israel?' is its exhaustive list of references, often of very recent provenance and with links to on-line sources. It's very helpful that the authors have given readers the benefit of their extensive research. However the book cries out for the services of a professional editor, to cut its vast size and to give its arguments more shape.

This book is an example of how the Internet often fails to display balanced argument. The ease with which wilfully ignorant individuals are able to peddle their carefully rehearsed distortions and lies does little to educate or promote a peaceful existence between those who simply want to get on with their lives. Any reasonable individual knows full well that Israel is no Apartheid State, the evidence is clear, yet the Muslims who yearn for their Caliphate continue to spread their bigotry unchecked, indeed encouraged!

Gary Selikow says:
how can you classify disseminating evil lies in order to prepare to genocide the Jews of Israel as having the 'heart in the right place'?
