This review is from: Clear Air Turbulence [VINYL] (Vinyl)
An album of music made on analogue synths & mellotrons. This reminded me a lot of the work by US duo ZOMBI and soundtracks to eighties movies such as INSEMINOID and XTRO and the work of the radiophonic workshop. The concept is that each track is based on a spacecraft. Most of the tracks are fairly laid back in pace, but with a somewhat mysterious and sinister sound... You can see some of this playing over the credits of a 1980s low budget space monster movie, or as incidental music in late seventies Dr Who or Blake's 7.
The record came with a CD as well, which is a nice touch. I wish more people did this.
