Decent basic keyboard,
This review is from: Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 - Black, UK Layout (Accessory)
There's not all that much to say really. It doesn't do anything special, but there's nothing really bad about it really.
The keys are low profile and aren't hugely elevated from the keyboard. I'd suggest everyone looks at the picture closely and notes the size of the "esc" key and the "F1-F12" keys. they are much smaller than the other keys. This could be a bother to some, but fortunately, they aren't rubbery or made of any different material to the rest of the keys.
One real positive about this keyboard is that I find it to be very quiet. It comes with the full set of keys, including both left and right windows buttons, where a lot of keyboards only have the left windows button. Nice and easy to install, just plug&play.

Modern Primate says:
I cannot imagine how you only give it a 3/5 stars. It does everything you want, you have no complaints with it. Seems to me like you either have unusual ideas about the rating system or are just looking for attention and people to come to your review, since there are so few people with 3 stars.

Rusty M says:
A score which is just above the middle ground of 2.5 stars for a no frills keyboard seems reasonable to me. The size of the esc and F1 to F12 keys was a little annoying but not a huge deal. It has no particular bells or whistles, which may have given it an extra star. I gave it a score which I believe reflects it's "nothing special, but not bad" state.

i don't think the person is "looking for attention" but I do agree that 3 stars for something that does what it was designed to do is misleading. Expecting more from a keyboard at this price is a little unrealistic. It would be like giving 2 stars to a box of paperclips because they are nothing special even though they only cost 20p. If an item gets low ratings people will go to look at them to see why they should not buy the item. mentioning the keys is useful info but overall if that is what one wants to spend on a keyboard, then it looks like, from all the reviews, this is very good value for money.
