This review is from: Garmin Speed/Cadence Sensor for Garmin Forerunner/Edge/Virb Elite/Montana/Oregon (Sports)
Speed / cadence sensor may not be useful to everyone, but when it comes to performance at top level one may find it to be a absolute must have.
To me it's just a simple device to provide some data to analyse.
+ easy instalation (both on MTB and road bikes)
+ easy and automatic pairing with your wrist device, or bike computer (910xt in my case)
+ auto configuration (no need to measure your wheel size if you have a GPS based receiver)
+ pair and forget (pair it just for the first time and never touch it again)
+ easy accesible and exchangable 3032 battery
+ can be helpful in changing your attitude to biking
+ tells you much about your riding style
- Still a bit too pricey, for what it does (it's just two magnets and a ANT+ antena)
