Customer Review

on November 25, 2010
This is a bit different from the many Voices first hand accounts from the Imperial War Museum in that although there are first hand extracts there is also useful information surrounding them to put them in context and in that way it is more a series of mini essays on different elements of the Western Front. It is a very good read for military enthusiasts, breaking away from the historian it was like this approach and instead bringing home the real war as seen by combatants. Well worth adding to your Great War library.
