Good, fun read, but.....,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Breakthrough (The Red Gambit Series Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
Let's face it, the editing is appalling! It doesn't quite ruin the book - but it does come a little close in that it gets a bit tiring to see the typos and the other grammatical errors.
There is also a lot of repetition in how things are phrased which wastes words and makes it unweildy.
Having said all that, it is a pretty good read. It has pace to the narrative (with the provisoes as above) and the scenes are well described. It is also a refreshing approach to AH.
Just a bit more work on presentation.

Thank you for your feedback. When I have finished book four I will look back over breakthrough and re-edit. Im a one man band and I dont have the resources to hire anyone else in. I'm hoping to get a publisher at some time but they seem reluctant to commit. Not so sure about the repetition thing. There are some things that use the same words because they have to. Others where I use repetition as a device. Not too sure if that has been said before so I think Im ok on that point but I will take a look at it, just to be sure. I know things were better for Stalemate because I had started to learn. Om has been re-edited but there are still things I have missed. I will get better with time. Thanks again.

Great to get a reply from the author! Please don't think that I didn't enjoy the first two books. I did. Like I said, it's great to get a new twist in AH. I will certainly be buying the next one when I get through my latest pile of books. Keep up the good work.
