Lovely card, didn't get to use!!!!!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Verbatim 44010 16GB microSDHC Class 10 Memory Card (Accessory)
Ordered this card to replace the Class 2 one in my phone. It arrived from "MyMemory.co.uk" as the seller.
Buyers beware though, the excellent packing is very hard to open and as such, I ended up damaging the card rendering it useless. It snapped in the top right hand corner.
Had to order another one, this time from Mymemory.co.uk at a slightly cheaper £14.99 price. I'll use scissors next time!!

M.Lane - I don't take kindly to your comments sir. As stated, I damaged my original card and got a replacement which I have also mentioned, has given no problems whatsoever. As I had not used the card when my rating was given, I could only give it one star.
As anyone who will read these comments can see, I won't cost the seller as I've admitted MY mistake.
How does that make me "stupid" and a "retard"?

M. LANE says:
Not every buyer READS the comments left by careless ppl who can't open a package, they go by STAR ratings alone, so YES it DOES cost the seller as ppl will buy from a trader who has higher ratings.
To rate a product as a one star because you damaged it is beyond a joke, you should have waited for the replacement and rated the working product, is this not obvious to you???
Before you have the admins delete this post please do the right thing and retract your one star (ask an admin, i can see you know how) and give a rating on the working product, not one you damaged yourself be reasonable man.

I ordered my replacement independently from the website, not Amazon, read the post. I'm sure people can read AND understand that the one star was because I couldn't say how good the card was because of my own error I didn't get a chance to use it. I don't understand why people like you feel you need to jump in and change the world because it doesn't spin as you want it. I don't think Verbatim or the seller will go under because of my statement. So, no, i've nothing to change. You, on the other hand should change your tone because as I've said, it's not welcome.

Well, I still maintain that a review cannot be made on a product you did not use/could not use by a fault of your own.
This to me and others is simple logic and common sense, backed up by the other 0-7 ppl who found your review of no use.
'People like me' don't pander or pussy foot around when something is so obviously wrong.
My card arrived today, the package presented not problems and the item works perfectly.
The world spins not just for me, but the vendor who you paid more than double to :) stroke of genius me thinks?

You know, you don't HAVE to review the product straight away. All you had to do was wait for the replacement product be it via Amazon or the original seller and then rate it.
I don't care what you say, giving a product a damning rating because of your hamfistedness is not fair and unrepresentative of the product. If you were, I dunno a chef and someone rated your meal as 1star because they got lost and didn't get chance to even eat it. You think would be OK???
Sorry, your wrong, you do need to change your rating fair and square.

Mr. B. Robbins says:
This product has got to be the most difficult packaging i have EVER encountered. I very nearly damaged the item simply because you have no easy way of getting into the tiny shrink-wrapped hard plastic cocoon. Even with scissors i was unable to get close to opening it and had to resort to a scalpel! On the basis that i had to subject it to twists and significant force, i wouldn't be surprised if the item had been slightly damaged. Don't call me hamfisted or inept - that needs to be levelled at the idiots who came up with this packaging. One star definitely from me.
