4.0 out of 5 stars WILFUL BLINDNESS, 11 Mar. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Wilful Blindness: Why We Ignore the Obvious at Our Peril (Paperback)
At times a difficult read, but rewarding. It shows how we turn the proverbial blind eye to matters we do not want to face. It explains some disasters, and the financial collapses of the past few years. If you are in business or just a human being who wants to learn about human nature. read this book. It really is an eye-opener. You will see the world differently after you turn the last page. I know I did.

The financial disasters of recent years are really rather weak (but acceptable to the Politically Correct) examples of how humanity as a group can wilfully blind themselves to unwelcome reality Mr Fowler. A far more serious example is the blind acceptance that "We all benefit from mass Third World immigration into Europe" encouraged/legally enforced by every Government for the last fifty years. As individuals we can all see this has contributed to the mass unemployment and artificially low wages which have blighted the lives of millions condemned to the evergrowing underclass. We can also see that far from the predicted multi-racial paradise's; our cities have become balkanised tinderboxes in which law and order is a joke. In the last few days, machinegun attacks by ethnicly based street gangs have again left innocent victims dead/injured. With all this evidence, do any of our 'leaders' dare to admit that current 'immigration' policy may contain even a few minor flaws? Of course not! The State knows what it's doing!!!
