Take No More by Seb Kirby is a fast-paced thriller about murder, corruption, and art, and is set in London and Florence. James Blake finds his wife Julia, an art conservator, murdered in their apartment and sets out to find her killer. Julia left him one clue to go on: a text message that read "help me" with an attachment showing Michelangelo's painting Leda and the Swan. The main character was very relatable and likeable. But what I liked most about this book was that the author surprised me when I'm usually pretty good at seeing things coming. Perfect timing with interesting twists kept me going and enjoying the book until the end.
