V was never my favourite Brother but I was really looking forward to his story nonetheless. And then... meh. I wasn't angry, I wasn't happy, this one just left me cold. These two extremely closed off people seemed to fall in love for no particular reason and on the periphery of the real action. Who cared? And the sex was boring, boring, boring, well down on J.R.'s usual standard (sorry, but the description of Jane's "mannish" looks at the start turned me right off, we get it, he's bi, sheesh). Is J.R. getting too distracted with trying to stretch the genre? And the "twist" that lets them stay together at the end? *rolls eyes* Lame. I've given it two stars only because of my love of the rest of the series and my hope for Phury's story.
