I am amazed a novel like this has not been written before (I've not read one like it before). the idea of thawing out and bringing back to life someone who `died' over one hundred years ago is a story that is not too far removed from real life.
This is a really meaty text that adds to the authors skill, slowly calmly we travel along drip drip drip as the story thaws and we begin to consider the consequences of actions that may be purely for scientific reasons. After all just because we don't know if its possible should that reason for trying? The love interest that slowly threads thought the story is as pure and as beautiful as the `hard ice` that our scientists have discovered. A beautiful story and quite awe inspiring. Definitely a recommendation to read.
