A fairly specialised textbook on corporate governance,
This review is from: Governance and the Market for Corporate Control (Routledge Contemporary Corporate Governance) (Paperback)
This textbook focuses on corporate governance issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, i.e. the market for corporate control, which gives this book a very narrow focus. The book is US centric and has little to say about alternative systems of corporate governance. It is also quite technical, assuming a strong background in finance, quants and/or economics. It is ideal for those who have already a background in corporate governance and/or mergers and acquisitions and wish to specialise.
