Customer Review

on 9 May 2007
Twin Peaks was a collaboration between director David Lynch and screen-writer Mark Frost. Set in the quiet town ficticious town of Twin Peaks in the north of America, the story follows the investigation of the murder of prom-queen Laura Palmer. However, this show is much more than a simple murder mystery.

One of the strongest aspects of the show is the development of the characters throughout the series. Even the most insignificant character is incredibly interesting and memorable and you feel could justify a series of their own.

It's impossible to compare Twin Peaks to anything before or since because it's so unique. If you've never seen the show you'll not understand the appeal of the show and it's only when you actually watch this fantastic program that you realise just how great it is. Seventeen years after it's creation, Twin Peaks has not aged in the slightest. The worst thing about this series is that it has to end and that television has never reached the same heights of creativity since.
