Customer Review

on 13 January 2013
To Wake rhe King is the first album in a projected trilogy by Francis Lickerish, who co-founded The Enid with Robert John Godfrey and Stephen Stewart back in the nineteen seventies. A powerful yet often subtle album which, like its successor, 'Far and Forgot', repays repeated listening, To Wake the King takes the listener on a musical journey which is also beautiful and exhilarating. To hear some samples, (which frankly will tell you more than my attempt at musical description ever could!) go to secretgreen.co.uk or type in Francis Lickerish and or Secret Green on Youtube.
