This is the ideal toy to keep children quiet on long journies and I include myself in that category. You think of something,it asks you 20 questions(or 25 if it guesses wrong first time),it tells you what you were thinking of and you say "wow".Or if you are my mother-in-law you think of Uncle Frank,it doesn't tell you what you were thinking of and you are unimpressed. I found that it guesses right about 95% of the time which is quite impressive.Especially as the right guesses have included smoke alarm, stapler, magnifying glass, bald eagle and courgette. It just seems unfortunate that the 5% of the times it gets it wrong always seem to be when you've handed it a friend telling them how astounding it is and they then hand it back with a "what's so good about that then"? I can recommend this toy uneqivocally. You will get a sore thumb using it. You will argue with other members of your family about who's turn it is to play with it. My only reservation is that some of the questions are a bit odd."Is it heavier than a duck"? I don't know - I've never weighed a duck. How much does a duck weigh if anything when it's flying? "Can you bring it along"? What does that mean? I assume it means is it nailed to the floor? Anyway once you get used to its little quirks it will become your constant companion - ready to be pulled out at bus stops or during commercial breaks on the TV. Go buy one. It's not like it's expensive.
