(See above for synopsis) I only recently watched series 1&2 (also on DVD) as I had resisted watching this show for some time: I'm not a Keifer Sutherland fan, can't commit to watching 24 episodes of any show and frankly the series didn't sound anything special in particular. A few friends raved about series 1 so much, that I borrowed their box set and was honestly blown away. I watched all 24 episodes within just over a week, quickly got hold of series 2, and was left gagging for the third series, hoping the writers could continue the high calibre of this amazing series. And they have - this is perhaps the most dramatic of the 3, and there are many, many shocks along the way, and for those who have seen the other 2 series (and it's strongly advised) there are as usual 2 or 3 subplots linking into the main storyline. I watched this in just 4 days and I am relieved series 4 isn't on DVD for a few months - I was beginning to become slightly obsessed and a hermit! TV should never be this good- it can ruin your life! :) There are 3 things in life I never want to be: the lover of anyone who works within a CTU department, a family member, and a politician!
