Customer Review

on 14 June 2010
Don't expect too much from this book, it is very light with uneven coverage of the books involved - some just get a few pages. Some of the definitions given in the glossaries are imprecise and the views of the author are very obvious - I found the use of loaded language particularly frustrating and sloppy.

Not all bad though (the breadth of subjects, books and philosophers covered counts in its favour), just bear in mind that it's only supposed to be an introduction for AS/A2 students and even if like me you're just reading out of personal interest you'll be wanting other books pretty soon.
