This is a very pretty film to look at and Nadine Labaki is stunning. However, the main point of the film is the friendship between the women who work at a beauty parlour and a few events from their lives. The film rambles all over the place, there are very few even gently amusing moments. Its a drama and I'm not sure how realistic a portrayal of life in Lebanon it is.
If you've got nothing better to do it would fill a couple of hours on a wet Sunday afternoon, but I wouldn't bother watching it twice.
