1.0 out of 5 stars Tacky, 5 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Love Me Do (50th Anniversary) [7" VINYL] (Vinyl)
There has been absolutely no care and attention given to this anniversary release .
This cheap and tacky record bares no resemblance to the original single it was meant to duplicate , even the sound quality has been compromised by using only 50% of the vinyl for the sonic grooves .
The ugly rigid cardboard sleeve with a barcode ( can you believe that ) , will not protect the record from dust as is it's purpose , as the opening remains wide open due to the sleeves rigidness , it will also scratch the record to pieces everytime it is taken out and put back in .
This product was obviously made as cheap as possible to increase its profit margins , without any thoughts for the fans .
Surely the 50th anniversary of this landmark single deserved a much better product !

Agree totally as I have an original copy and saw it at beatles story in Liverpool, not the same at all, the hard sleeve will damage record too over time, as i found with my elvis box set
