Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass Weight Gain Powder, 5.45 kg - Chocolate (Personal Care)
I purchased this product in true hope of finally gaining weight as i have a serious problem with my metabolism (105lbs, 5ft,11). The product arrived on time, so the delivery was good. The product however is impossible do drink in the full recommended serving suggestion (334g), so i mixed half (167g) with 400ml milk and rank it okay. The flavour is bearable. However, 5 minutes after consuming i got this horrible cramp and felt insanely sick and dizzy. I proceeded to vomit the shake back up, which set me off in a depressive mood, because its incredibly difficult for me to gain weight, and it feels like i never will. I'm sorry but i have wasted £45. Absolutely gutted.

Mr. T. M. Stevens says:
I've never commented on a review before but saw your post and have felt your pain so wanted to weigh in. I like you had massive difficulties gaining weight my entire life, I was always around 9 stone (I'm 5'9 and 23 years old). Just before christmas last year I had enough and decided to put myself through agony to get the size I wanted. I've tried so many other shakes which have all come up short, this one however is amazing. I suggest you go to the doctor and say that you have been feeling really sick lately and see if you can get prescribed a medicine called prochloperazine (They are a miracle), then start slowly on the shakes at night time when you can have one and then sit/lie down to get rid of the sick feeling (Yes you will get this for a while but persevere!) take one of the tablets each time you do a shake and it will help! slowly build up your tolerance so that you can start taking three a day, one after breakfast, one after lunch and one after a workout. I'm at 13 st 3lbs, it can be done, you have to push through the horrible initial sickness! Stick in there pal!
