I'm an avid user of Amazon although this is the first review I've really ever bothered to leave.
Although I've yet to jump into property investment, I'm expecting to take the leap in the next 6 months or so.
I've read quite a few property development books although after listening to Rob's Property Podcast (literally 'The Property Podcast') I found I really liked his down to earth and balanced style of explaining various property related topics.
I'll be honest, it's a small book although it's intended to be small whilst covering most, if not all, of the key principles of property development and therefore it's a great introduction to the topic. Rob does a fantastic job of trying to keep aspects simple whilst also doing what many others don't and reference that, with property, there are often many different considerations and risks to take into account whilst evaluating property transactions. He may not delve into the detail - otherwise this would become a far larger book - although he references the variables as opposed to glossing over considerations that other books sidestep in their pursuit of claiming huge and simple ROI.
This book can easily be read in an afternoon and is highly recommended. Good work Rob.
