A tribute to the greatest racing journalist ever (and possibly one of the Great English Eccentrics) this book compiles 50-odd of Jenks' articles (mostly from the BRDC magazine) and adds some biographical material and tributes from other racers and journalists. Whether Jenks was discussing contemporary F1, his own competition career on two, three or four wheels, the history of the sport, road-car driving or indeed anything that happened to come into his mind he was witty, incisive, opinionated, and usually right. Of course, it includes every schoolboy's favourite "With Moss In The Mille Miglia". A great book and a great character. The only problem with the book is that reading it makes you miss Jenks even more.
