Customer Review

on 24 October 2004
Definitely the best Backyard Babies album, this is pure party music. While previous recordings have been somewhat shabby around the edges, this album hears them tighten up their sound into something easily accessible but properly rock 'n' roll. Dregen is a serious guitar god, and he really shows off his talent here with plenty of fun solos and riffs. Backing vocals from the other three members highlight Nicke's rough voice, but his vocals never waver out of tune.
Definitely a good starting point for those interested in the band. From here, I'd follow up with Total 13, then take a step forwards to their latest, most politically conscious album, Stockholm Syndrome.
