This is a good read, very well, and I would think, honestly written. A true cradle to grave account, with flaws and imperfections on view. I read this book in just 2 days, and the stress of his at times chaotic life ooze from the pages
. From what we read, his personal relationships suffered because of his ambition to be a great restauranteur, together with his trust in people who were just out to freeload, and many times he apologises to his children for his shortcomings as a parent.
It would seem he knew the end was nigh, and he uses this book to explain his life, maybe even to explain himself, to those in his life who really mattered.
