This review is from: Porcupine Tree: Arriving Somewhere [DVD] [NTSC] (DVD)
Well I think this DVD is fantastic. I only have stereo on my TV, but the sound is excellent and the show is quite entertaining. Disc 1 comprises of a concert in Chicago and disc 2 has extras including 2 tracks not performed at the concert on disc 1.
Three things I like about this concert are 1) Gavin Harrison's drumming, 2) the joint vocals are spot on and 3) the way that Steven Wilson shares the guitar solos and not take all the credit by playing them all himself.
The one thing I didn't like was that the track Radioactive Toy on disc 2 is the shortened version and misses the original coda piece off (probably due to time restraints as it was taken from a German TV Broadcast).
If you have never seen the Tree, go and get this item and see what the fuss is about. I would also point out that this DVD is also a good starter for people new to Porcupine Tree.
