This review is from: Introducing Multilingualism (Paperback)
I had to get this book for my university course "Linguistics in the Real World", and my tutor (who happens to be the Jean-Jaques Weber mentioned as a co-author on the book) basically made the class read through the book chapter by chapter and just expanded on each during our class together. That, in itself, was a useful approach.
When considering the book on its own, I would say that it is quite complicated to understand at times, but it explains many different approaches towards Multilingualism and includes a number of exercises along the way which not only help to remember what has been discussed in the chapter, but also to make you think about what you've just read and not only to read it and go along with it.
Well-worth buying, in my opinion
