This is my first experience of Mr Big after 40 years rocking. Somehow they passed me by but as soon as I heard the opening tracks Daddy, Brother, Lover, Litle Boy and Alive and Kickin' I started kicking myself as it roars into life like an express train. But then mysteriously we lose the plot with some distinctly AOR offering suited to trendy suit types who claim to like rock music. Green-Tinted Sixties Mind is a good example of yuck and CDFF is Bon Jon Jovi at their melodic peak. Why do great rock bands insist on playing ballards and spoil possible masterful albums(rammstein don't but Scorpions do, weird). Still Voodoo Kiss, Never Say Never (is this stomping Whitesnake or what?), My Kinda of Woman and a A Little to Loose drag the album up from the appearing chasm. If only the ballards were consigned to the dustbin this would have been a 5* album. Overall though some great music and worth buying.
